Blargh.
I'm doomed. Sociology project coming up in a couple weeks. November 2nd* to be exact. I have nothing. If anyone knows of a reliable ancestry look-up (for FREE), lemme know.
I should've started on it earlier but I've been... preoccupied. Y'see, I've recently picked up Disgaea 2 it is ultimately more interesting than a genealogy report. Also, class was cancelled Friday due to our professor getting caught in horrendous traffic so with a whole day to kill, Jon and I set off to the Mullet Festival. It'd been a decade since either of us had had the pleasure of visiting so it was a treat. After temptation had lured me into buying a Kodak Easy Share, I was able to snap some shots of the event. Oh, my weakness to sales.
A few new 'first times' to recall
- first Oxygen Bar experience (leading to my first high off peppermint)
- first try of shark, alligator, octopus, and papadam from Sri Lanka (shark is fabulous; basically a chicken/fish nugget)
- first time I witnessed a baton twirling competition
- first time someone won me a
cuteridiculously cute kitten poster - first time I ever had to pay four bucks for a small lemonade (fuckers)
- first time I ever saw an actual factual rattle snake rattle at me
All in all, a good day.
