What's the best pick up line you've ever heard?
lolololol.
I'm not sure if this counts as a pick-up line, per se, but I had a couple hours to kill before work so I decided to hit the beach alone. I was reading a book on my towel when this little girl (maybe four?) approached me with the saddest little face. I asked her what was wrong.
"I lost my brother."
"Hm, well what does your brother look like?"
"He's tall."
"Oh? Anything else? What is he wearing?"
"Blue trunks."
"Okay, how old is he?"
"I don't know. Hold on."
And sad, little girl runs away to the lifeguard stand. She returns.
"Sixteen."
On another account, the worst pick-up line probably came from this thirty-something, drunk, redneck guy from The Swamp who told me (in his beer-ridden breath) I was "cuter than a two dollar bill."
Yeah.
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?
Submitted by enrico.
hahahahahahahahaha, I find this very amusing since I just got my new replacement phone today and was so disgusted with the preset tones, I actually sucked up the $2.49 charge and purchased a ringtone. Took me a while but I decided on Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book. Yeah, I am the nostalgia bomb.
Today is Veterans Day. Is there anyone you know who has served or is serving in the military that you'd like to honor today?
Daddy.<3 MSGT Charles C. Sprague. Served in the Air Force manning the B-17. Fought in Vietnam, WWII, and Korea just to name a few. Was honestly the most badass guy I ever knew. I owe so much to him I can't even put my feelings into words. Guess I'll always be a daddy's girl.
I think might take an impromptu trip to Barrancas today to visit him. I'm pretty sure traffic will be less than stellar but I'm thinking it'll be well worth it.
Which person from your past, who you've lost touch with, do you wonder about the most?

I wonder about Valerie from time to time. We've known each other for nearly a decade now and I'd like to consider her as one of my best friends despite the fact of hardly seeing one another. I always wonder what she's doing, how her life is, does she still think of me, etc. I guess I'm totally gay for my old best friend. I've always been so concerned for her, especially in these past few years. There have been changes, bad ones, I'll admit, from the both of us and so I've always kept a silent, watchful eye on her. Weird really, I was looking through this blog yesterday and found that post I made of her earlier and thought to myself, "Wow, I wish I saw Val more." Next thing I know, I'm at a party at Steven's and lo and behold, there she is. Getting shit-faced and everything! What a coincidence! I mean, she lives in Tampa now, six hours away. I don't even remember her ever hanging out with Steven. The odds of her being there were very slim to none. But I'm glad she went. So glad. I missed her so much. <3

6) my mom's wacky Thanksgiving lunch- pansit, lumpia, fried mullet, turkey, yams, mashed potatoes, corn, banana nut bread, pumpkin pie- that will feed me all week
7) the nine and 1/2 hours of sleep I got
8) hot showers
9) easy college classes
10) blankets
11) Jon letting me keep a tortoise
12) I get paid 3 times in November
13) I got to see my dad this year

If you're reincarnated, what do you think you'll come back as?

Maybe a koala bear; I like to climb trees and laze around and eat and LOOK SUPER CUTE. I also love hugs.
And to past the time (stole this from MySpace, how embarrassing) here's an update on my life, as is.
I love romance movies. Wonder what that says about my personality?
I am sick of local commercials.
I wonder if I'll be able to snag a Wii tomorrow. Cross your fingers.
I miss having skin on my fucking Thanksgiving turkey, god damn it.
I wonder if Steven and Royce got mugged yet.
I hate sinus limbo- half runny, half congested.
I want to not fail college.
I hate slow starting car heaters.
I wonder if I'll ever have a pet tortoise to call my own.
I wish I could travel the world.
I think a child's imagination is precious.
In two months, I've spent way too much on eBay.
I want to go back in time and see Madonna in concert. OMG I WANT.
I love Robert Munsch's Love You Forever.
I am eating way too much and don't know why.
I appreciate a genuine hug.
I wish I could sleep easier.
I hope to not forget my dad's voice.
After seven years I hope to settle down.
I wish I didn't live at home.
I hate trucks that tailgate and then turn their brights on.
I am too cold to be warmblooded.
I don't get nearly enough rest for my day.
I have to beat Disgaea 2 or face an imcomplete existence.
I wish I was more fluent in French.
Why do people like asparagus?
I think it is time for the sedatives to kick in.
What's on your Top 5 video games list?

Disgaea 1&2 PS2
(I cheated! I picked two!) By far, my favorite strategy rpg series. Just recently, I've spent a good week on the second determined to beat it. I'd be playing now if it weren't for Jon and his Guitar Hero-ing. Disgaea comes complete with an addictive story, outrageous characters, and T-rated humor. Cute prinnys, demonic scheming, and all-out mayhem. The recipe for success.
We <3 Katamari PS2
One of my most used Christmas presents. Raymond and I beat the hell out of this little number. (Not like it was hard). Cute cousins and catchy soundtrack. Enough to get me hooked.
Pokemon Blue GB
Who doesn't have this in their top 5? My nerdy girlfriends and I would spend weekends catching, battling, trading Pokémon only to eventually get the BrainBoy and cheat our way to complete 151 victory. ...We only did it for Mewtwo. Oh, that cute charmander.
Shining Soul GBA
I'll admit that I only picked this one up because it was from the makers of Atlus and at the time, I had just gotten hooked to the first Disgaea. I was not displeased. It's a nice simple story and you get the most fun out of poking at monsters. I'm actually not that sure why I love it so much. Perhaps the cute dragons.
Dead or Alive 2 Dreamcast
The first and only on my top 5 that doesn't involve cute things. Instead, bodacious babes. We are a scarce bunch, but the few who loved the Dreamcast would probably put DOA in their list of best Dreamcast games. Mostly because there weren't much of them anyway. Takes me back to my babysitting days when I would hook up the system and I would hick kick two little girls into submission. I don't hold back. It's a shamed life I live.
BONUS!: Rocker Prinny Jon
Did you dress up today? See any good costumes?
Meh. I tried to go for something more original than the run-of-the-mill K-Mart special and had a lil somethin' somethin' customized. Didn't turn out quite right. Also, with my huge-o project for socio coming up, not much time to be festive for anything really.**
On the upside, my birthday wasn't as bad as expected. I still went to work but was showered with presents and cake. All in all, a good day. I got some lame presents (two matching pink beach towels from Wayne) and some supreme-o presents (a pretty pretty ring from Jon). If you're curious, also received Billy Madison and yummy Lip Smackers chapstick from Jessica, random jewelry from mommy,
Below: The cake Yolanda got me. Too tiny for "Happy Birthday Marie" but "HB" works just as good.
Below Below: More Halloweenie pictures.
Funny Fact: Some kid crapped himself. And still asked for candy. HARDxCORE.
****UPDATE UPDATE: Steven presented me with Teen Titans season 2 and 20 dollars towards gas. Josh Dempsey also graciously offered me $20. Happy now?
